JoomlaXTC X-Menu Plugin allows for double lined text commonly known as Speaking Navigation to the core Joomla Main Menu.

Instructions:

1. Double-line menus:



While editing a menu option, add the {xm} tags to surround the string that will be shown below the first one, this is an example:

Original menu option title:

About Us

Edited menu option title:

About Us{xm}Contact us for more information{/xm}

The resulting HTML will be shown as follows:

About UsContact us for more information

You can then style the tag to suit your needs using the included CSS file in the plugin folder.



2. Module as Menu Option



xmenu plugin allows you to display a module as a menu option, follow this steps to enable one:

a. Create a new menu option of type "External Link" and enter the title for it. The menu option does not need to have an URL assigned to it.

b. Create a second menu option of type "Separator" and as a title for it enter a string such as this:

{xm modposition,460,160}

This tag will make the menu display any modules assigned to module position "modposition" in a 460 by 160 pixels area.

Save your changes and go to your frontpage to review the changes.
